August 23, 2012 - Top Tuner was selected as 1 of 3 teams to receive the all new 2013 Scion FR-S from Scion Canada. Representing Ontario, the Top Tuner team is now faced with an incredible nationwide all Canadian challenge. The challenge - to build the Scion FR-S to be able to to endure and compete in not 1; but 11 distinct motorsports events in the next 12 months. The Top Tuner team will be tasked to build the all new Scion FR-S in various stages and styles, to be fully functional for the track, but carry design elements that make sense for each challenge along the away. Design sponsors APR Performance, Forgestar, 20 Hz Audio, Xtreme Motorsports, and ETC's very own Matt Law will help to keep the Top Tuner team a head of the game by innovating never before seen products that will debut on the Top Tuner Scion FR-S.
The Top Tuner FR-S is debuting on Saturday, August 25 at Importfest, Canada's Biggest and Baddest Car Show, at the Metro Toronto Convention Center, in Toronto Ontario. Team Top Tuner is presenting the all new Stage 1, Scion Top Tuner FR-S along with presenting the top import model in the industry, Dannie Riel, to fans and show attendees.
Performance sponsors Can-Jam Motorsports, Cusco USA, NX Express, Darton Sleeves, and JE Pistons played a pivotal role on the development of the Top Tuner FR-S Stage 1 build for the first 2012 Scion Tuner Challenge - Autocross slated for Sunday, August 26, in Barrie Ontario. Canadian Touring Car Champion, and 2011 CTCC Champion, Top Tuner Sasha Anis, President of Sequence Garage Motorsport Inc, will be tasked in the driver's seat to take on the first challenge with the Top Tuner FR-S.
